Avira
We first tested this antivirus in 2005 and we were amazed at the performance and
detection rate that this av engine provides. While this antivirus has seen most
of its deployments accross Europe, it is quickly gaining market share in the United
States as more engineers test and deploy this product within their infrastructure.
ESET
We have been recommending ESET's NOD32 antivirus program since 2004. This company
offers superior virus protection while maintaining low system resource usage. ESET's
Smart Security Suite won the CNET Editor's Choice Award for April 2009. It is certified
by both AV Comparitives, and vb 100.
Kaspersky
Kaspersky used to be bundled as part of iolo's system mechanic product and has broke
off into a dedicated antivirus company. It is one of the top contendors for Avira
accross the European market share and is making a name for itself in the United
States. We've actually had clients request this one by name.
Panda Security
We first heard about Panda Security in 2008 while searching for an AV to help clean
up a Vundo infestation. Panda's online scanner did a better job of cleaning up the
malware and spyware on that network than other antivirus solutions that required
a local installation. Before running Panda we were unable to remove enough of the
malware to let the Vundo Remover do it's job. Thanks to this good experience
we are now offering Panda's Managed Office Protection.
Postini by Google Apps
If your organization uses Google Apps we can help implement the Postini's email
security solutions for your company. Some of Postini's services include antispam,
virus filtering, content filtering, content management, and email archiving.
Red Condor
The Tolly Group, an independent testing organization found that Red Condor bested
Barracuda and Postini an antispam test and only generated 1 false positive in nearly
200,000 messages. According to The Tolley Group, Red Condor has an over 99.99% spam
detection rate when filtering email messages.
